Damaged by hurricanes Katrina and Rita
Berkeley Heights, NJ, March, 2006 Enslow Publishers, in an effort to help provide books to hurricane-damaged areas, has donated over $38,000 worth of nonfiction library books to 41 school and public libraries in the Hurricane Katrina damaged areas of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. Enslow plans to donate a total of $50,000 worth of books to these areas.
Enslow's selection of over a dozen set of books, covering 200 topics for students and young adults, are being offered for donation. There is a limit of approximately 50 titles per library donation. There is no cost for the books or the shipping, although special requests or processing are not being offered with this donation. This offer is made until the $50,000 worth of books is given away or June 30, 2006, whichever comes first.
